Square Enix’s first digital showcase event will show off the next Life is Strange game next week

Square Enix is taking a page from the Nintendo book of Directs, as it’ll be broadcasting its first episode next week of a new showcase called “Square Enix Presents.” Taking place on March 18 and probably at an ungodly hour, there’ll be 40 minutes of content to sit through. Square Enix isn’t short on games right now either, as it has a packed slate of projects to pick from.

With the Midgar chapter over, there’s still a whole lot of content left to tackle albeit with brand new plot twists, characters and summons. The foundation is there, the next game will likely be a PlayStation 5 timed exclusive and new tech should make for a smoother and less padded out experience.
