After a year of allegations and complaints surrounding G2A’s arguably shady business model of reselling game keys, Kuc states that all the claims are unfounded.

Founder of Unknown Worlds Charlie Cleveland took to Twitter to challenge G2A regarding what many believe to be inconsequential policy changes.

G2A has now been busted for attempting to sway public opinion on the site with an article that would attempt to paint them in a more positive light.

The ball is in G2A’s court, but as long as there’s money to be made from a grey market of illicitly obtained download keys for games, it sounds like the company believes that a cure is better than prevention of the illness that currently plagues it.

The site notorious for selling shady game keys at excessive discounts seems to have figured out how to steal even more money from developers.

Ubisoft has partnered with UK tech company Genba Digital to take on dodgy key resellers like G2A. their platform allows for what they call “a game-changing mode of digital distribution,” and its goal is to reduce the risk of abuse and fraud in digital game purchasing and reselling, while also providing users with a smooth experience.
