Bandai Namco has found its necks game. Giggle. Called Code Vein, the Japanese publisher got the ball rolling on the project with a short teaser and a few more details in Famitsu magazine this week. Promising vampiric action minus the bare-chested shininess, Code Vein drops players into a world devastated by monsters and disease as humanity has but one last stronghold to eke out an existence in.

I’m fairly confident that at the rate that they’re pumping them out, there’ll soon be more Injustice 2 trailers than there are people on this world. The latest trailer of the hour shines a spotlight on a brawler with a green thumb. Also a green index finger, thighs, toes and belly button/ Listen, she’s completely green, but ironically to the point where she invokes jealousy in anyone but herself. Here’s Poison Ivy in action in Injustice 2.

You know what’s a great game? Hotline Miami, a brutally difficult top-down experience which doesn’t hold back. You know what’s a great movie scene? That bit from X-Men 2 where Nightcrawler goes on a teleporting rampage throughout the White House. Wouldn’t it be cool if the two got together with one of the better stick-fighting scenes from Kung Fu Hustle and had a baby? If you’re wondering how such a union would go down, wonder no more: The result of that threesome does exist. It’s called Mr Shifty, and it’s…well it’s damn good fun so far.

Destiny finally found its groove around the time that the House of Wolves DLC arrived, with the Taken King expansion finally giving it the heavyweight punch it needed to stand tall with the big boys in the industry. Point is, mistakes were made. Mistakes that Bungie learnt a lot from, and that I’m hoping we won’t see in Destiny 2 later this year. Here’s the first proper trailer for the upcoming sequel, so that you can start judging for yourself.

Fortunately for you, you won’t be going down without a fight as you’ll have access to the usual arsenal of guns ‘n ammo with which to fight back against those damn aliens and their bloodlust. Stage Presence, a game that puts you right in the middle of a stage malfunction while your roadies desperately scramble to fix the problem. All of that, while a crowd bays for your blood and you have nothing but the dulcet tones of your voice to use to soothe their savagery.
