Disney has an asset in their arsenal that knows the free to play market and how lucrative it can be…but they don’t want to remain in the video game development business. According to sources, the house of mouse’s big cheese Bob Iger is looking to sell the newly acquired FoxNext studio and rather make a few pretty pennies off of licensing fees.

EA no longer produces rugby games (although in hindsight that may be for the best), with the big egg having been dropped. So who’s picking up the ball this year? None other than Wellington based games developer Sidhe, who’ll be looking to score some points with Rugby Challenge 3. There’s no trailer for it yet, but here’s the list of features!

Control, from Max Payne and Alan Wake maker Remedy, is a lovely game – and one of my favourite games of the years so far. It’s a mind-fuck of a game that blends Metroidvania-styled exploration with tight 3rd person shooter mechanics and super powers, all wrapped up in some intriguing, eyebrow-raising exposition.

It may be playable on just about any screen in several pre-selected countries, but Google Stadia will need some mighty fine bait if it wants to hook a few new converts to their way of thinking. A few free trials of Stadia, might be the perfect lure.
