James Bond may have plenty of time to die now that his latest film has been cast into the deepest pits of release schedule hell, but 007 will be back! In a new video game that is, helmed by none other than Hitman developers IO Interactive. Having spent the last few years crafting intricate sandboxes for Agent 47 to wreak havoc within, IO is perhaps the perfect fit for this project.

What the DualSense is right now, is an impressive step forward in input technology that finally brings the peripheral closer in line with the next-gen experience. Games like Astro’s Playroom are groundbreaking not only to experience but because they represent the future of what’s possible. And right now, that future has me very excited.

In a year where people have been encouraged to stay at home, you’d have thought Niantic’s blockbuster mobile game would be in dangerous waters, but some clever tinkering behind the scenes has helped Pokémon Go stay more relevant than ever before.

It’s a beautiful day to receive a next-gen console, wouldn’t you say? For many of you, that dream of owning Sony’s latest piece of technology is about to come true as wave 2 of the PlayStation 5 launch kicks off. Some games are lined up for multiple awards, such as the superb Hades, the spectacular Ghost of Tsushima, and my favourite golf game, The Last of Us Part II. This year’s breakout hits also include Fall Guys and Among Us, and there’s nothing sus about that. Here’s the full list of nominees for the show, which will be livestreamed on December 10.

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity Review – Once, twice, three times the amount of Bokoblins

Hyrule Warriors: Age of Calamity falters greatly in its narrative. The time-traveling aspect felt like a cheap and easy way to rewrite history without actually adding much to the established lore. That said, this did allow Princess Zelda to shine which ended up being a pleasant surprise. The gameplay is the main hook and it’s a bloody fun one at that. There is lots to love here if you can ignore the weak story.

Whenever something is added to Bungie’s sprawling cosmic sandbox, something else inevitably breaks, usually to hilarious effect. Players are quick to pounce on exploits in Destiny 2, and now that the Beyond Light expansion has launched they’ve discovered the biggest one yet. One of the major new additions from the expansion is a new Guardian subclass that uses Stasis energy to create a different experience.

CD Projekt Red shows off Cyberpunk 2077 Xbox Series X and Xbox One X footage

Cyberpunk 2077 looks…okay on Xbox One X! It had all the visual hallmarks of this current generation of gaming, but it didn’t run so good and there were some noticeable frame-rate drops in the game which mostly ran at 30 frames per second. On the Xbox Series X, there’s a more stable game under the hood. It’s worth noting that this version running on the Xbox Series X is Cyberpunk 2077 without any console next-gen upgrades, so it’ll be interesting to see how the game evolves after those features are added.
