With E3 around the corner, June is once again home to plenty of new releases. If you happen to have your gaming bones tickled by nostalgia or you’re in the mood for a shooting experience that won’t show you any mercy, then you’re in luck. For a guy who was abducted from Earth in the 1980s and has never returned to his homeworld in the decades since, Star Lord is pretty damn fashionable guy. Clothes may not make the man, but they do cover your epidermis. Stylishly. Like this official jacket from Anovos!
Warner Bros. Interactive and DC Comics realised early on that having the right character isn’t a guarantee to success. Said character needs the right developer sidekick and a freedom to push the properties in new directions. That focus worked gangbusters for the Arkham series, Injustice and Telltale’s Batman game. Back when the first Guardians of the Galaxy debuted, Star Lord was one of the hottest collectible action figures ever made. The original run from Hot Toys became sought-after and stupidly expensive over on eBay, because that’s how limited supply and demand works. There’s a second chance on the horizon however, as a sequel to GOTG the first means that it’s high time for a sequel figure. One that looks dashing.

A spooky European village. Properly scary castle mania. Vampires. Werewolves! Capcom's successor to its long-running survival-horror franchise is finally out, and if you've read our review then you know the game is a winner on multiple levels.
