Returning to Raccoon City is bringing some tonal changes, but the gang's all here in Resident Evil Remake 2 to remind you what a terrifying tale it was all those years ago.

The next acquisition on THQ Nordic’s plate? None other than Alone In The Dark, a video game series based on a highly successful Uwe Boll movie. I think, my memory is fuzzy on this one. Released all the way back in 1992, the original Alone In The Dark was a masterpiece of its time, utilising new 3D models in two dimensional environments to paint a picture of suspense and chills.

It's amazing just how much Young Justice got away with on regular TV, a format which is notorious for its restrictions and limits on content. For Young Justice: Outsiders however, those limits have been eased greatly for the show’s return in 2019 on the DC Universe network.

Capcom is adding even more modern tendancies to Resident Evil Remake 2, including its adaptive difficulty setting to keep you on the edge of your seat.

Hereditary is both spine-tingling and uninventive. It is both competently made and loosely cobbled together. It does not make the best use of its assets nor does it follow through on its every promise. Nevertheless, it is one of the strongest Horror films in recent memory

Resident Evil feels like an epilogue set dressed by the belongings of the very same people trying to kill us. This effect is better in Resident Evil 7, which features a homestead that feels very much inhabited, a place where almost every room – from the kitchen to the garage to the bedrooms – feels like a place interrupted in the process of merely living. A snapshot of the lives of your enemies before they were so, a home video on ‘Pause’.

When a group of teenagers in a small town start experiencing blackouts (some of them for ages), they band together. When one of them goes missing, it’s up to them to gather evidence, investigate and document everything they can to find out the town’s secret, convince the adults that something’s afoot and find their lost comrade. If that sounds a bit like Stranger things or IT to you, then that’s good – because those are some of the properties where it got its inspiration.

The Inpatient's strenghts lie in its opening moments, where its pivot to psychological horrors stare you in the face. But it's limp gameplay and unconvincing choices make its subsequent playthroughs a chore.
