Critics seem to agree that while Marvel vs. Capcom Infinite hits hard when the actual fighting is concerned, everything around it is simply not up to scratch.

Marvel vs Capcom Infinite fans aren't exactly thrilled that the key hook for their hard-earned cash resembled farm eggs that had gone rotten, even if said package also included a quartet of collectable figures and a few other goodies thrown in for good measure.

While Jean Grey was no stranger to death thanks to the Phoenix Force having revived her before, she apparently met her final end in 2005’s X-Men Phoenix: Endsong. Pretty much persona non grata since then (that other Jean Grey is a younger version from the past stranded in our timelines and yeeesh comic book continuities), it looks like Marvel is getting ready to have their trademark Phoenix rise from the ashes again.

The comic book creator and cameo legend has already filmed his next five appearances for the Marvel Cinematic Universe.

Len Wein, editor on DC’s hugely-influential Watchmen comic book series and the co-creator of Wolverine, has died at the age of 69. One of the masterminds responsible for reviving the X-Men in 1975 alongside artist Dave Cockrum, Wein’s resurrection of the children of the atom resulted in the X-Men becoming a hugely successful franchise in Marvel after their original series was cancelled years prior due to dwindling sales numbers.

Disney has reportedly pulled off a big surprise by making their Marvel and Star Wars films exclusive to their streaming service when it arrives in 2019.
