While Spotify already has a stunning selection of video game soundtracks (I’m listening to some Il Dovakin from the Skyrim selection right now), Capcom’s sound team just loaded everything from Mega Man to Monster Hunter World for fans to listen to. And it’s brilliant.

Get ready for a brutal boing with the latest Mega Man 11 villain, Bounce Man

With a spring in his step and a cheerful outlook, Bounce Man makes for one unlikely Robot Master in Mega Man 11. Compared to the angular Impact Man who’s driven to a point, the concerns of modern robot life simply bounce off of this smooth, round Robot Master. Torch Man! He’s a robot master…with a torch! For years, it felt like Capcom just straight out hated Mega Man. The iconic blue bomber was one of the company’s biggest franchises, before they started ignoring the little robotic fella. Now? Well, now we have a release date. Yes, Capcom’s managed to not cancel a new Mega Man game. Mega Man 11 will be coming to PlayStation 4, Xbox, Nintendo Switch and Windows PC on October 2.

OMG! There’s a new Mega Man game coming!

To celebrate Mega Man’s 30th Anniversary, Capcom held a special stream last night. That was surprising for a number of reasons. The first is that Capcom actually remembers that Mega Man exists. For years now, it feels like they’ve pushed the famed blue bomber to the side, cancelling just about every Mega Man game in which he would star. Well, there's a new game coming.
