Next week is E3 time! For many, it’s the closest thing to Christmas, with roughly a million (give or take) new games revealed, along with gameplay and more from games we already know about. Thanks to this year being an especially leaky one, it seems that many of this year’s greatest surprises have had the wind knocked out of them. That doesn’t mean that we aren’t in for more surprises though! What surprise game announcement would tickle your fancy?
I really enjoyed State of Decay 2, even if it was somewhat buggy, and lacking polish. The game received a day one patch that helped, but the game was still a little on the rough side. A new 20GB patch hopes to fix that. An extensive update has effectively replaced the entire game that includes fixes to the games networking code, stability fixes, as well as numerous, welcome bug fixes.
While the E3 of today is a tightly-tuned beast of rehearsals and scripted moments, the E3s of the past were a bit more dynamic. That led to more than a few scenarios that were cringe-worthy to say the least. Events that went off script, crashed and burned. I really enjoyed my time with State of Decay 2. That’s probably in spite of the game, rather than because of it.
