Last week, Riot teased a brand new champion for League of Legends. All that could be gleaned from the short clip is that the upcoming character has a gun, some sort of fascination with the arts, and somewhat resembles Handsome Jack. Now though, we can finally see who this Virtuoso is, and exactly what he is capable of.

Following the huge Reborn Update last year, Dota 2 haemorrhaged a rather large number of players during September (nearly 100 000 or so). It was a short lived dip though it seems, because since then, the playerbase has been climbing onward and upward steadily, and has finally reached the significant 1 million peak player mark again.

Being smack in the middle of the festive season, we fully expected Valve to provide a festive Frostivus update for Dota 2. Sadly, they haven’t – there is no snow to be seen. What they’ve given instead however, is something far better. Say hello to the balance of power update, which has just about everything a Dota 2 fan could ever want for Christmas.

There’s a big difference between shooters (First or third-person) and MOBA games. One genre is rock-solid, the other is rubbish. Ha, I kid! I love you MOBA players! Put the pitchforks down already.
