After a year away, Need For Speed is back. And this year, it’s all about going back to the series roots after listening to some extensive fan feedback.
EA is not seen as the most consumer-friendly purveyor of games these days, but it seems that the EA of old is going away. They've confirmed that Need for Speed won't have any DLC or micro transactions.
Need for Speed might be racing onto consoles later this year, but it's hit a bit of a speed bump on the road to arriving on PC.
EA’s upcoming Need For Speed, a game where your speed is silly and your fashion sense even more so, will be hopping on that bandwagon soon enough. The reboot will be taking on signups for a closed beta session that will launch sometime after September 25 and before the November 3 release of the game.
This year’s Need For Speed looks like more of the same: A crew of tropes, dressed in goofy “hip” clothing (DAMN KIDS), while Johnny Law is on your tail. Of course, in order to put the pedal to the metal, you’re going to need four wheels. And an engine. And a chassis. And other stuff.
The latest Need For Speed has a bit of a sting for anyone who experiences bandwidth issues however, as it requires a permanent online connection. But at least you can take selfies and turn that into cash! Sort of. TERMS AND CONDITIONS MAY APPLY.
