With new characters in the roster, 13 of Injustice 2’s brawlers will be getting some tender love and care in the December update. Also, new Multiverse Portals for you to dedicate your every waking moment to!

Injustice 2 is doing that crossover tango again, this time with the iconic Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Here’s a brief look at them in action, alongside the Atom and Enchantress.

Crossovers are clearly continuing in the video game department with Injustice 2, as DC’s finest are about to get a taste of hell. Hellboy that is, as Dark Horse Comics will soon be making their presence felt in the best fighting game of the year.

Injustice 2 is a damned good fighting game. It’s probably the best one out this year, and very definitely the best one featuring people in tights and capes slapping each other silly. And it's finally coming to PC.

You look back at the impact that Mortal Kombat has had over the years, and there’s so much to write about. The technical breakthroughs, pissing off overzealous parents and being the benchmark for reboots. More than that though, I’ll always remember Mortal Kombat for something else: It was the one game that helped the fighting genre find its spine. And then ripped it out.

I’m feeling pretty confident in declaring that Injustice 2 is hands down the best fighting game of the year. It’s also the game that keeps on giving (for a price), adding new fighters regularly to its roster. The next downloadable brawler? None other than super-scientist Ray Palmer, better known in the superhero community as the Atom.

I f*cking hate Aquaman in Injustice 2. If DC Comics and NetherRealm wanted to distance themselves as far as possible from the stereotypical image of a founding Justice League member whose moist schtick has been mercilessly mocked for decades, then job well done. Because the Injustice 2 Aquaman may be the biggest dick in the seven seas. Fortunately, Black Manta is here to cut him down to size.

He’s one of the most iconic fighting game villains of all time, a boneheaded conqueror of Outworld who first appeared in 1993’s Mortal Kombat 2 as the final threat and had every cheap trick in the book to throw at players. Super-speed, shoulder charges which he could combo into a mighty hammer blow…man this guy was all kinds of cheese.
