The long-awaited Obi-Wan Kenobi TV series starts production next month and Disney has revealed its star-studded cast... and yes, that somehow includes Hayden Christensen as Darth Vader as well as some surprisingly recognizable faces!

It appears the Star Wars character that everyone loves to hate may be making a return in the upcoming Obi-Wan Kenobi series

Back in August it was finally officially confirmed that Ewan McGregor would be reprising his Star Wars Prequel Trilogy role as a younger Obi-Wan Kenobi, however this production has been in development for much longer than we thought.

The Mandalorian isn't the only big Star Wars show that was spoken about for Disney+ last night, as Ewan McGregor's long-awaited return as Obi-Wan Kenobi was finally confirmed officially. We also got to hear a bit more details on the Clone Wars revival and the upcoming Rogue One prequel series.

When Disney scrapped their plans for more standalone prequel films, it stopped the long-rumoured development of a solo Obi-Wan Kenobi film. However, it appears that Ewan McGregor's fan-favourite Jedi Master may return after all but just on the small screen.

Think of a major Star Wars character... any character! Well, chances are that Disney and Lucasfilm are planning a TV series about them if the latest batch of rumours are to be believed!
