Who wouldn’t want to see Red Alert 2 (and by extension the Yuri’s Revenge expansion) reborn on widescreen monitors and beefy computer rigs? Is it so much to ask for, to want to once again tear an alt-future Soviet army apart with flying Psychic saucers? At this point, you’d think that EA would be happy to throw a sack of cash at Petroglyph and get them to start work on that remaster, but like most things in life, it’s not that simple.

With some extra polish, a retuning of the enemies and less frequent knockdowns, there could be something magical here down the road. I’m still not entirely sold on the live service model and having a battle pass system in play this early in the lifecycle of Marvel’s Avengers feels premature, but I’m slowly feeling it!
