Weekend Box Office Report 27 - 29 April 2018: Avengers: Infinity War was already the biggest comic book movie ever made, but now it has the box office records to back that up as well as Marvel's latest claims a staggering $250 million domestic and $630 million opening weekend debut.

Local Weekend Box Office Report 20 - 22 April: Rampage held onto to its crown again in a relatively quiet weekend, which really only saw R-rated comedy Blockers stand out from the rest of the crowd for all the right reasons.

Local Weekend Box Office Report 13 - 15 April: Dwayne Johnson-led video game adaptation Rampage took the top spot, but Black Panther grabbed the headlines once again as it became the first film in SA box office history to pass the R100 million mark.

Monster mash Rampage is definitely not the best-rated movie you'll ever come across, but as things currently stand it is actually the highest-rated video game adaptation in history.

Weekend Box Office Report 13 - 15 April 2018: While it looked as if breakout horror A Quiet Place would rule for a second week as it crossed the $100 million mark domestically, Dwayne Johnson's Rampage pulled off a last-minute upset to narrowly claim the top spot.

Bigger is obviously better because it's all about the giants this week. From colossal kaiju to enormous apes and Denzel Washington's staggeringly impressive afro, here are your new cinema releases for this weekend. 

1980s video game Rampage doesn't exactly boast the type of premise that seems to fit the big screen, but that hasn't stopped this third collaboration between leading man Dwayne "The Rock" Johnson and director Brad Peyton from making a big blockbuster monster movie anyway.
