Capcom say that they’ll reveal Project Resistance on September 9, with a full gameplay reveal at the Tokyo Games Show on September 12. The Internet on the other hand, has a few different ideas and thanks to some digging it looks like a few early screens for the game have been dug up.

The title which has yet to be announced by Capcom is currently in development for next-gen hardware.

A new challenger has entered the field, and while it does have a few neat ideas of its own, maybe the biggest gun in its arsenal is the chance to take to the field and wield the might of several of Capcom’s heaviest hitters. It’s called Teppen, and even though I am beyond disappointed that it’s not based on one of the best anime series of all time, it does look kind of neat.

For a series whose primary focus is on fighting the not so dearly departed, there’s still plenty of life left in Resident Evil 2’s shambling carcass. The recent remake has proven this, as Capcom’s return to Raccoon City hasn’t just been a hit with critics, but also a sales darling with fans from all walks of life as well.
