Bungie’s plan for the next year may be a revisit to the classic location from the original Destiny game, but at the same time they’re aiming to make this area feel anything but familiar.

After three years, the story continues once again! Here’s part six of our retrospective of the Destiny story so far, as we cover The Rise of Iron that closed the book on the original Destiny era.

Destiny 2 general manager Mark Noseworthy revealed that in terms of size, the new Shadowkeep expansion would be less Forsaken and more Rise of Iron.

Yes sir, the best rocket launcher in Destiny built up a hell of a reputation for itself over the course of three years, thanks to a payload which wasn’t just explosive but also detonated into smaller cluster bombs which would follow enemies around. The fabled weapon and fan favourite has been missing in action throughout Destiny 2, with many a Guardian lobbying Bungie to bring back the almighty death-dealer. Which might be happening soon.

Destiny 1 is for all intents and purposes deader than my parent’s love for me on my birthday, as developer Bungie confirmed that it was all going all in for Destiny 2. Might be time to finally delete it from the console. Sob.

Thunderlord repaints that focus more on Solar and Void damage, Nova Mortis and Abbadon can both be obtained from a pair of quests.
