Destiny 2’s expansions aren’t just…well, expansions. They’re massive slices of content they may add new worlds and weapons to discover, but they’re also mood-setters that shape the direction and tone of Destiny 2 for an entire year. With just a mere two weeks to go until Shadowkeep launches, Bungie is looking to move beyond the Forsaken era and its tale of revenge, and settle down for a year of spooky action that appeals to the hardest of core fans.

No matter which way you slice it, IO Interactive’s Hitman 2 is a miracle. Getting from your starting point to the eventual finish line that is your target, is where the game shines as players need to move between disguises and locations if they want to complete a contract. Doing so also means that you’re going to be using everything from rat poison to screwdrivers to incapacitate anyone who stands in your way. Or if the going gets tough, you could have used the hilarious homing briefcase that Agent 47 carried around with him

Hitman 2’s Sniper Assassin maps just nail that feeling of the importance of a single trigger squeeze. So far, the two maps on offer have been superb showcases of style and substance that showcase Agent 47’s unique talent for death. He’s about to test those skills in the harshest environment yet, as this month’s roadmap for challenging murder will see the fella don a trapper hat and set up camp outside of a Siberian gulag.

All of that big content that BioWare promised would launch in April for Anthem? Yeah, that ain't coming this month or anytime soon.

New locations, missions and plenty of unlockable tools of the trade. 2019 is going to be a very busy year for Agent 47 as Hitman 2 expands with some substantial content plans.

Why not take a page out of the video game post-launch playbook then and give a detailed roadmap of content that is still to come? Because that’s exactly what the Epic Games Store is going to be doing as it looks to create a more feature-rich hub for purchasing games.

Jump Force may be the kind of game that can be best viewed as pure anime filler when it comes to quality. And not even the good kind of filler. More like Bleach filler and oh yes, I just went there. Still, that hasn’t stopped the game from earning some fans, and all seven of them are going to be delighted to hear that Jump Force has a roadmap of downloadable content on the way.

Time has not been kind to Fallout 76 in the hundred days since it launched. Still, there are some people out there who can overlook the many many faults of Bethesda’s live service apocalypse tour, and more power to them if they find some joy in that wasteland. A wasteland that’s about to receive an infusion of content.
