Arguably the greatest Spider-Man film of all time is officially getting a sequel as Sony announces the release date for the animated hit.

Not all of Death Stranding's systems mesh convincingly at times, which coupled with its slow start can leave a bad first impression. But its narrative and eventual gameplay pace are both compelling enough to chase down.

Sony, purveyors of the once incredibly popular karaoke series Singstar, has announced that the game in all its guises will soon be no more. Early next year, Sony will be shutting down SingStar’s SingStore servers, removing the ability to download new songs. Says the message that was sent to loyal Singstar players:

One of the best slice ‘n dice action games of recent memory and yet another horror game that’ll having me noping so hard that I’ll be able to achieve escape velocity from this horrible planet. Nioh and Outlast 2 will be up for the low low price of nothing, provided that your subscription is up to date.

Sony’s released it latest financial earning report, for the second quarter of their financial 2019. One of the more interesting titbits from the reports is that the PlayStation 4 has now gone on to sell more than 102.8m units

Look I’m as surprised as you are. I’d completely forgotten about Sony’s take on streaming entertainment, and by the sound of things, so did most of the world.

It was only recently that we got a confirmed release date for Naughty Dog’s PlayStation 4 swansong, The Last of Us II. The gamer was pegged for a February 2020 release, but now that’ll no longer be happening. It’s a curious delay given that Sony recently held previews for the game, showing it off to select press at an event. After a few rumours suggesting the game’s delay, Sony and Naughty Dog have confirmed that The Last of Us II will now be coming towards the middle of the year.

Thanks to a brand new deal between Sony and Disney, Spider-Man is staying in the Marvel Cinematic Universe for the time being. However, a new rumour claims that Disney wants to make that stay permanent.
