That, and it’s also capable of tickling your auditory canals thanks to the massive advancements made in audio technology since the humble days of the ol’ CD-ROM technology that woke your ears up with the sound of cascading wind chimes. For the development of the Spyro: Reignited Trilogy, Toys for Bob had to essentially reconstruct the music from scratch.

Spyro Reignited Trilogy already looks stunning thanks to the amount of work that Toys For Bob have poured into that trio of remastered games, but they didn’t stop there. To really give Spyro the love he deserved, Toys For Bob went to great lengths to remaster every single piece of original audio that the studio could get their hands on.

While Spyro hasn’t faded into the background thanks to a stint in the Skylanders series of toys to life video games, fans have still been starving for a return to the classics. If you thought Activision would sit idly on their hands  after the overwhelming success of Crash Bandicoot’s return, you obviously have never heard of Activision. The publisher prints money with its biggest names, but it’s it closet of dormant franchises that its looking to reignite now. And reignite it they literally will, as the Skylanders name lays on the sunset …
