Baldur’s Gate 3 is almost here, and if you were wondering which classes you could choose from in Larian’s take on the beloved RPG series, bamboozle thy mind no more! There’ll be 16 races to choose from, various sub-race options, and over 150 different heads that you can slap on your avatar.

Destiny 2: Beyond Light's new sub-classes look like proper new additions to the Guardian arsenal instead of mere riffs on the existing Solar, Arc and Void abilities, the first notable addition since the Forsaken expansion…uh…expanded on these powers.

The Hive are up to their tricks again, the dead walk the lunar surface once again and a buttload of new changes are on the way as Destiny 2 doubles down on its RPG experience more than ever before. Here’s a trailer for the October 1 launch, to get you in the mood for descending into a pit of unspeakable horror that defies human logic and wants to rip your soul apart with arcane rituals.

Destiny 2’s expansions aren’t just…well, expansions. They’re massive slices of content they may add new worlds and weapons to discover, but they’re also mood-setters that shape the direction and tone of Destiny 2 for an entire year. With just a mere two weeks to go until Shadowkeep launches, Bungie is looking to move beyond the Forsaken era and its tale of revenge, and settle down for a year of spooky action that appeals to the hardest of core fans.

Between your primary death-dealers and more exotic fare, Destiny 2’s guns are in a good place right now. So good in fact, that they’ll be largely untouched come Shadowkeep.

Just like every year before it, Bungie has a few BIG changes in store for Destiny 2. Some of these changes are good! With an eye on growing the fanbase by making a large chunk of the base game free and tailoring events to give the series a soft reset for newcomers and veterans alike, the Shadowkeep era will be Bungie’s biggest effort yet at ensuring that Destiny has a future without the lucrative purse of Activision steering the franchise. Some of those other changes…are not so good.

In the upcoming Forsaken expansion, Bungie is tripling down on the Supers that give every Guardian a brief chance to shine on the battlefield. Every available subclass is getting a brand new skill tree, with those new additions ending with a deadly new Super to unleash. While the actual path of power will be staggered and will take weeks to complete for all three Guardian classes after Forsaken launches, it’ll be well worth the effort as the new subclasses will offer substantial new tweaks and strategies to the Destiny sandbox.
