JJ Abrams may have got the ball rolling on reviving Star Wars, but he’s passed on the job of sequel duty to Rian “Looper Johnson for Star Wars: The Last Jedi. Here’s the first trailer for Episode VIII, which picks up shortly after the end credits had rolled on Rey’s first day at Luke Skywalker’s new Jedi academy in the middle of nowhere.

The latest trailer for Transformers: The Last Knight is pure Bayhem

By Darryn Bonthuys

To his credit, Michael Bay knows exactly how to activate those reptilian parts of my brain that adores loud noises, colourful explosions and Aerosmith. I’m this confident that Transformers: The Last Knight will live up to the legacy of the previous films: It’s going to be unbelievably stupid and yet it’s somehow going to make an equally idiotic amount of cash at the box office. Dammit, I’m still morbidly curious enough to want to go see it, purely to see how Bay would direct a King Arthur movie when given the chance. This latest trailer for Transformers 5 though? It might just be the master of Bayhem turned up to 11

Yesterday’s trailer for Thor: Ragnarok wasn’t just a ripping good use of Led Zeppelin’s Immigrant song. It was also packed to the rafters with nods and clues to the film. The kind of clues that only an obsessive freak would spend hours rewatching a two minute trailer for so that he could discover all of them. Well as Odin is my witness, I am that obsessive freak. Here’s everything that we discovered so far in the first trailer, so get ready to Ragnarok and roll.

Time itself is a weapon for The Flash in the latest Injustice 2 trailer

By Darryn Bonthuys

The Flash pretty much operates in exactly the same manner as he did in the first Injustice: Speed-heavy combos that actually land with the lag of a massively-pinged internet connection in Call of Duty, with his special ability allowing the player to slow down time long enough to get some extra licks in. All well and good, but the icing on this Speed Force cake is the Flash’s ultimate move, an attack that very much asks you to check yoself before you wreck yoself.

Hela has broken loose in the first trailer for Thor: Ragnarok

Marvel’s premiere Norse god has seen better days in other films such as the Avengers and Doctor Strange, but his own solo movies haven’t managed to reach the same heights as say Captain America: The Winter Soldier or the superb Iron Man 3. That’s maybe not a bad thing. With each successful film in the bank, the pressure ramps up to surpass what came before. If the bar hasn’t been set too high, then the chance to actually pull off the impossible and better than ever before suddenly becomes a lot more doable. Something that Thor Ragnarok seems more than capable of doing.

What’s a first-person game without a few gadgets huh? Guns, tools and gizmos baby. That’s what I’m here for, and Prey doesn’t look like it’ll disappoint on the one front that my dormant Charlton Heston genes are craving. Here’s the latest trailer that shows off vanilla heads-up displays, menus (SO EXCITING) and useful household tools like a Greenpeace grenade that recycles everything within its radius back into atoms. Handy.
