Capcom announces Resident Evil showcase for next week
What can you expect to see at a Resident Evil showcase? I mean… you know this. Just pause and think for a second and I’m sure you’ll get there.

A journey that has lasted several years. A trail of bodies left behind. One chap with a very bald head who weaved his way between bastards and eliminated them all. Agent 47’s journey finally comes to an end in Hitman 3 this month, and while the final chapter in the world of assassination trilogy looks very much like par for the corpse, it’s going to be one heck of a scenic tour in the end.
With Hitman 3 around the corner, the song remains the same but with an added twist: Virtually real first-person viewpoints. If you’re not content with watching Agent 47 drown an uptight vegan rock star in his own gluten-free cake, you can now do so at a more visceral level through the eyes of the world’s greatest assassin.
Technically, it’s news to someone even if it is almost a week old! While we were all shoving handfuls of food into our gaping maws during the silly season (how do you make mince out of fruit and turn it into a pie asking for a friend), developer GSC Game World dropped a new trailer showing off STALKER 2’s first-person atmosphere.
Set in the midst of the swinging 1970s, this Elseworlds adventure finds Bruce Wayne training under a master sensei. It is here that Bruce, along with other elite students, is forged in the fire of the martial arts discipline. The lifelong bonds they form will be put to the test when a deadly menace arises from their past. It will take the combined efforts of Batman, world-renowned martial artists Richard Dragon, Ben Turner, and Lady Shiva and their mentor O-Sensei to battle the monsters of this world and beyond!
Sony, clearly very aware that it has the games that so many people are lusting after, just can’t stop showing off Demon’s Souls.
Like the other two entries in Supermassive Game’s franchise, it looks to tell a very different story but with a similar tone of doom and gloom.
We also have some new information on the game, including a range of filters to tweak the way it looks and updated user interface elements.
Have you ever double-checked your doors at night because something just didn’t feel secure? …
A spooky European village. Properly scary castle mania. Vampires. Werewolves! The only thing more frightening, is a glimpse at your empty bank account when it comes to deciding whether or not you can grab Resident Evil Village this month. Capcom's successor to its long-running survival-horror franchise is finally out, and if you've read our review then you know the game is a winner on multiple levels.
