Knowing full well that they couldn’t just take the original game, slap on some new textures and call it a day, Ubisoft has decided to try and spruce up Assassin’s Creed 3 with some quality of life upgrades.

There are very few movies like Upgrade being made. A fierce and kinetic sci-fi action romp, this violent revenge story satisfies in ways its watered-down competition mostly cannot. A great protagonist with a sympathetic plight make up for its shortcomings in the character department, while the punch of its ending and goriest moments make it a more or less unmissable ride for genre fans this year.
