With Avengers 3 out in May and promising to craft a tale that focuses on a decade’s worth of story centered on the universe-shattering Infinity Stones, the cosmic treasures are once again in the spotlight within the pages of Marvel’s various comics. There’s a twist to the stones this time however, as the publisher broke down what it calls the Infinity Circuit and how this new setup has the potential to make them even more powerful.

The time-displaced and surlier version of Wolverine is going to find himself butting heads with Deadpool in a new series soon, the titular Deadpool Vs Old Man Logan. Cerebro has detected a new Omega-level mutant whose powers are starting to go haywire, and certain elements want to catch and weaponise her. Fortunately, Old Man Logan is off to rescue her. Unfortunately, Deadpool is also on the case.

Len Wein, editor on DC’s hugely-influential Watchmen comic book series and the co-creator of Wolverine, has died at the age of 69. One of the masterminds responsible for reviving the X-Men in 1975 alongside artist Dave Cockrum, Wein’s resurrection of the children of the atom resulted in the X-Men becoming a hugely successful franchise in Marvel after their original series was cancelled years prior due to dwindling sales numbers.

If you’ve never introduced Dante’s pretty-boy looks to the business end of some Adamantium claws or caught SChun-Li with an optic blast of pure concussive force, then you’ve missed out on some classic MvC action. Action which is apparently absent from Marvel Vs Capcom Infinite entirely. Take it with a massive pinch of salt, as the roster for Marvel vs Capcom Infinite has leaked and there’s not a single trace of the X-gene inside of it.

Times have changed over at Marvel. A new generation of heroes have risen, some good and some bad. While characters such as Kate Bishop, Kamala Khan and Miles Morales feel like worthy successors to the identities that they’ve claimed as Hawkeye, Miss Marvel and Spider-Man respectively, other new additions feel ham-fisted and forced upon readers so far.
