As officially revealed last night, the Australian-born Rose has been cast to play Kate Kane aka Batwoman in The CW's upcoming Arrowverse crossover event before spinning off into her own DC Comics TV series alongside Arrow, The Flash, DC's Legends of Tomorrow, and Supergirl.

The CW's upcoming big crossover between Arrow, The Flash, DC's Legends of Tomorrow, and Supergirl is set to introduce popular comic book character Batwoman in live-action fashion for the first time. That's not the last we'll see of this modern comic book icon though.

After years of teasing, the Arrowverse is finally off to America’s hellhole in its next big massive series-wide event. Except it won’t be Batman who’ll be meeting up with Teams Arrow, Flash and the Legends. It’ll be Batwoman.

Batwoman returns next year February with a new Rebirth one-shot and a regular series in March that features some top-tier talent.
