Developer Hardsuit Games is no longer in charge of crafting Vampire: The Masquerade - Bloodlines 2, as that duty is being outsourced to a different studio entirely.

Brian Mitsoda, narrative lead on Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2, has been future endeavoured by publisher Paradox Interactive and developer Hardsuit Labs. The company announced that it had given marching orders to Mitsoda and creative director Ka’ai Cluney, replacing them with Alexandre Mandryka.

Paradox Interactive always told us that the fifth and final faction in Vampire: the Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 would be unseen. They weren’t joking, as that’s really the name of the last gang on the list of neck-biters who roam the streets at night. If they’re allowed to that is. Amidst the beautiful tribes of nightwalkers and immortals, there exist the Nosferatu of the Unseen.

If you’re a freshly resurrected servant of the night, feel like dipping your toes into a more gothic and romantic version of vampire lore and you’ve got ambition to match your hunger, then the Ventrue is the clan for you.

Do you throw in with the second-class Thinbloods, or do you go outside and rattle a few cages as one of the rebellious Brujah? Maybe you’d rather spend your afterlife focusing on the more beautiful side of existence in Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2.

Forget about the second-class citizens of Bloodlines 2, because the full-blood clan is where the action is indeed at.There’ll be several of them to join when you’re given a chance to do so, and here’s a look at the first one: The outcasts, the rebels and the renegades who favour brute force over subterfuge. While plenty of video games aim to be as neutral as possible in their approach to avoid losing revenue, Vampire The Masquerade – Bloodlines 2 is going in the opposite direction.

It’s official! Vampire: The Masquerade – Bloodlines is finally getting a sequel after a decade and a half of hibernation and I bet it’ll wake up without that messy crypt-hair look!
