The day is young, my hype is fresh and it’s time to wax lyrical about what we can probably expect to see in the threequel that is Borderlands 3.

So who’s making the cut for Mortal Kombat 11? We’ve already got confirmation of series regulars and a few new faces, but a recent dig into the Steam achievements library may have just revealed the rest of the roster.

It looks like Apex Legends might be off to a great start. Respawn’s free to play shooter managed to notch a million unique downloads within eight hours of its launch, and video streaming sites are filed with nothing but channels broadcasting the hottest new chicken dinner on the block. Currently available on PC, Xbox One and PS4, here’s the quick breakdown on the game and its current contents.

Here’s some new salt to take a liberal pinch of and throw on top of the pile, as YouTube channel The Know apparently got the hottest of scoops and managed to snag some details on the core four characters of Borderlands 3 via their anonymous source.

Much like many many other LEGO games, LEGO DC Super Villains has an entire multiverse worth of characters to collect, unlock and play around with. Some can be found, others can be bought and a bunch more can be straight up added to your roster with a little of the ol’ cheat code magic. From classic Kneel Diamond obsessed antagonists such as General Zod to more obscure threats such as Clock King, there’s a whole lot of mischief just waiting to be found.

I’m going to be dead honest with you here: I have no idea what Left Alive is even about. What I do know, is that it has cover art from Yoji Shinkawa, so my interest is automatically activated and aroused. That’s some damn good art right there. According to Square Enix, Left Alive is an “upcoming survival shooter set in the Front Mission universe”.

If you’re fancying some combat that relies more on massive hunks of steel with which to do battle, then good news! SoulCalibur 6 is on the way, and once again it’ll feature a roster of well-armed warriors duking it out over a fabled weapon that has a bigger corruptive influence than a weekend on a Scientology ranch.
