From the streets of Gotham to the far reaches of space and even the afterlife itself, here's a look at the very best comic book covers of the week from all across the industry!

The Manga series of the 2000s were defined by action. The shinobi subterfuge of Naruto, the bonkers bankai of Bleach and One Piece’s enduring silliness provided for some fantastic spectacle in the pages of Shonen Jump. The genre is still alive and well, but there’s a new kid on the Shonen block who is giving readers something that they’ve seldom seen: An education. One of the most popular manga series currently out, Dr Stone by Inagaki Riichiro and Boichi is some of the most damn fun you can have with seeing the power of science in a brave new world.

Warrior. Legend. Gift-giver. Klaus is many things to many people worldwide, but this year he is the defender of Earth, alongside a host of other wintery warriors, as a threat of galactic proportions invades the planet and endangers all humans, naughty and nice alike.

While Logan may have lost the Space Stone, it looks like he’ll soon be getting his hands on it again. Heck, he’ll even be going for the full collection, as it looks like Marvel’s not so merry mutant who is the best there is at what he does, will soon wield the entire spectrum of Infinity Stones in Wolverine: Infinity Watch.

With the Bumblebee film out in December, Hasbro’s latest range of licensed figures now includes a new Nitro series. Aimed at ages six and up, these figures are the halfway point between accuracy and ease of use. The titular Autobot scout takes the lead here, and first impressions are fantastic. Not only is Bumblebee rocking an authentic Beetle chassis that has been given Volkswagen’s blessing, but his robot mode looks superb as well.

With his passing, Stan Lee’s own story may be over but the legend he created will live on forever as the comic book industry paid their respects to a man who was a mentor, an inspiration and most importantly, a friend.

Stanley Martin Lieber, known to true believers all over the world as Stan Lee, had died. The co-creator of a vast chunk of Marvel’s Silver Age of comics, Stan Lee helped usher in new comic book characters such as Spider-Man, the Fantastic Four and the Incredible Hulk when he worked alongside artists such as Jack Kirby and Steve Ditko in the 1960s.
