DC is dipping back into its collectibles for another new series, this time based on the Gotham City Garage inaction figures. Here’s the lowdown on this crazy tale: Lex Luthor is in charge of Gotham City, thanks to a project that saw the City renamed to “The Garden”. Everything is hunky dory and keeping secrets is frowned upon…by an ever-present security team led by Batman. Someone should fight back against his regime. A job that the Gotham City Garage is ready to accept.
Martha-lover, would you look at this new Batman figure from Hot Toys? Just don't mention anyone whose name rhymes with Arthur around it.
Spider-Man has been sort of like Batman lately, but with fewer broken bones and more smiles under the mask. Peter Parker currently has it all thanks to recent events in his wibbly wobbly world that saw him inherit a massive company and become its public face. He’s also about to lose it all, as Spider-Man is going back to his roots at the Daily Bugle.
Up next in the Earth one universe? The original man without fear, Green Lantern. This time, the space-cop of Sector 2814 will star in a story with a twist: All of the Green Lanterns are dead by the hands of the Manhunters, and it’s up to Hal to fight back and reform the corps while balancing his life as an astronaut for Ferris Galactic.
What if the only person standing between the dark knight and his ruthless battle to take back the streets of Gotham was his greatest nemesis? That’s the setup for Batman: White Knight, which stars the former clown prince of crime in a quest to take down the Batman. The only difference this time? The Joker isn’t killing people with toxic laughing gas or threatening to poison Gotham’s water supply with his homebrewed poisons. Because he’s completely sane after his latest stint at Arkham Asylum, and no longer has a maniacal urge to murder.
I might look be looking at getting the whole range of Street Fighter figures from Storm Collectibles in the future. A series which now also includes the fugliest cat I’ve ever seen, Akuma.
DC Comics have released the official checklist for the upcoming series, affected titles and one-shots for Batman’s Metal adventure. While the bulk of the tale will be contained in the six Dark Knights issues, the Dark Days, Batman one-shots and plenty of other familiar heroes will help fill in any gaps.
A good loot box never feels like a coupon. It feels like a moment. …
A spooky European village. Properly scary castle mania. Vampires. Werewolves! The only thing more frightening, is a glimpse at your empty bank account when it comes to deciding whether or not you can grab Resident Evil Village this month. Capcom's successor to its long-running survival-horror franchise is finally out, and if you've read our review then you know the game is a winner on multiple levels.
