First revealed back at E3 2016, Days Gone had another showing at last year’s E3 and some press were able to sit down for an extended gameplay session that didn’t exactly tickle them in the right place as Days Gone kind of had the appearance of a tepid and tedious game. Maybe it's that kind of response, which has pushed the game back to a 2019 release date.

An open-world The Last Of Us might just be the most apt description for Days Gone. I just wish the human element was gone as well.

After a weekend of press conferences from developers, publishers and hardware giants, E3’s final press event had finally arrived. Once again Sony managed to snag the last slot of the day, this time hosting press, industry and fans at the Shrine auditorium. Last year’s press conference from Sony was refreshingly simple in its execution: Minimal talking and plenty of trailers.

Days Gone, the new sort of Zombie Apocalypse game from Sony Bend was shown off – giving us a better glimpse of the open world a, the biking and the wilderness you’ll experience as you try your best to survive.

“I know!” said D, as he giggled with glee. “I’ll write my own list of speculation, why tis the eve of E3!”. And thus it was written while he listened to podcasts of comedians from Great Britain, as he got to work on the gist of his list.

On the plus side, every Freaker in Days Gone does share a common goal of wanting to eat your face. Wait, that's not good.

Days Gone looks like it’ll be asking people to regularly engage in some fight or flight mechanics. Mostly fight though.
