The fan favourite co-op mode from Modern Warfare 2 and 3 seems to be back with all kinds of bells and whistles to keep players involved.

This year’s multiplayer hook in Call of Duty: Modern Warfare goes by the name of Gunfight, a 2v2 mode that focuses on duos as they take each other on in what developer Infinity Ward calls “multi-round cage matches”.

While Modern Warfare brings back the campaign action with a story that is designed to make you feel when it hammers home the horrors of war, rumours say that this year’s take on Battle Royale is going to result in a BIG mode.

Call of Duty: Modern Warfare is coming in October 25. While it may not have a really new name, the game is doing some new and interesting things – with a brand new engine powering it all, allowing things to stay fresh. There are some other changes coming too.
