We recently had a chance to chat to Top Gear;s Freddie Flintoff, fresh off of filming series 27 and deep in production on the next season. We had questions for him, he had answers for us on everything from the most beautiful filming spots in the world to Top Gear almost losing a host in a morbid but hilarious manner. Here’s what he had to say.

Top Gear’s roster of hosts might change, there may be a new fastest car around the track on any given day of the week and the show may change with the times, but there’ll always be one constant: The Stig. Some say that his nipples are shaped like the Nurburgring and that his sweat can clean precious metals, but all we know is that Top Gear’s resident racing driver is Top Gear at its best: Focused, able to throw a million Rand's worth of car around a corner with reckless abandon and able to say a thousand words without ever opening his mouth.

DOOM Eternal looks exactly like what you’d want from a sequel to the 2016 reboot: just, well, more DOOM. There’s demons galore, Hella dn Heaven and more sequences for Doomguy to just steal the show, making it seems like very few changes have made it in. That couldn’t be further from the truth though. id Software have taken a lot of feedback on what worked best in their reboot, and fixed what didn’t hit the mark. Which is why DOOM Eternal has a distinctly different visual style that harkens back to its more arcade roots.

Cyberpunk 2077 was easily one of the biggest titles on show at E3 again this year, with a whole new 45-minute behind closed doors demo showing off some of the improvements CD Projekt Red have made in the past year.
