You wouldn't expect a movie starring one of the most fun characters in cinema history to not be a wild ride and this new trailer for Solo: A Star Wars Story certainly gives us a dose of that wild side.

After more than a year of not an official peep about production except for the behind the scenes troubles, we finally get our first look at the much-anticipated *cough* solo movie featuring the young version of the galaxy's favourite scruffy-looking nerf herder!

Like many hardcore Star Wars fans out there, I really enjoyed The Last Jedi. There are others who didn't though, and that's perfectly okay. What's not okay is how a thuggish group of these so-called fans have completely gone off the deep end in their hatred for this movie and its creators to the point of even making violent threats against them and committing unscrupulous acts to tarnish its name.

With a franchise as tightly run as Star Wars, you would think that Lucasfilm painstakingly plans out every story detail themselves. However, when it comes to director Rian Johnson, he seemingly gets to let loose in their sci-fi sandpit.
