Nier Replicant gets a new lease on life complete with a combat system and graphical overhaul resulting in a game that’s actually fun to play. More importantly, it allows the emotional and amazing story-telling to shine even more. Backtracking complaints aside, this is one game you have to experience for yourself.
Fans have been clamouring for an updated version of their beloved classic, and that’s just what they’re getting! Square Enix revealed that a remastered version is on the way, under the title of NieR Replicant ver.1.22474487139… and no I’m not joking that telephone number is the actual name of the game and I refuse to use it. Kingdom Hearts’ Tetsuya Nomura must be frothing at the mouth right now over this missed opportunity.
2B or not 2B? That is the question. A question which you’ll get to answer in the near future, as it looks like the entirity of Nier: Automata and all of its assorted DLC is getting bundled up into the standard game of the year package.
