Nvidia's first RTX card is launching tomorrow, so here's a deeper look at what the technology in the new ray-tracing cards brings to games like Metro: Exodus.

The Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 Blackout beta is now over, and the general consensus among those who played it is that it’s a highly enjoyable, polished Battle Royale that’s fast, smooth and slick. It’s not without its problems though, with most complaints pointing at the game’s armour system and weapon pickups. That, of course, is what betas are for (besides being marketing opportunities, of course). Treyarch has taken the feedback from the beta and will be making several changes to the mode before the game’s release next month.

Battlefield V's Battle Royale mode is still in development, but at least we now have more details regarding its name and suprising lack of individual play modes.

“I want the PC community to know that this game was built for them,” says Beenox’s Philippe Troie. “This is a PC game that is being built with the PC in mind. From the controls, to the graphics options, to the gameplay, I want the PC community to feel that this is for them in every way.”

Every time a new World of Warcraft expansion comes around, the game explodes in popularity as lapsed players return in droves to battle for their preferred faction. Given the theme of this seventh expansion, Battle for Azeroth, there’s a lot of factional allegiance at play – so it’s naturally redrawn old battle lines and sucked in even more players. In fact, it’s now the fastest selling World of Warcraft to date – and one of the fastest selling PC games ever.
