Playstation 3 Gets New Invite System

By Nick De Bruyne
February 11, 2010
in :  Gaming

PSNinvite.jpg Users of the PSN will be pleased to hear that Sony has integrated a new system to invite multiple people into a game on the Playstation 3. The new system uses the chatroom function and basically allows all the people in the chat room to be invited to a game. At the moment - and honestly one of Sony's biggest problems right now - is that the only games supported are Bioshock 2, the AvP demo and Call of Duty Classic. This sounds like a great new addition, but what does it help if it isn't quickly rolled out for all of the games on PSN. While I think that Sony really need to start making everything that they do work universally, I still think that this is a nice new addition and one that will come in handy to a lot of people in future. Let's just get this thing working for every game now. You can find out how it works, see images and get more information on how to use it through the source link below.

The great news is that a multiplayer demo hits today for …

Somebody at Sony has obviously been hitting the electric Kool-aid, because they thought this was a good idea. Starting on February 18th, you’ll be able to download weekly episodes of “The Tester,” a new reality TV series from the PSN. The show will feature real life gamers competing for one of the most dull, draining and wholly unfulfilling jobs in …

Zipper Interactive : PSN’s users more mature than XBL’s

By Geoffrey Tim
January 22, 2010

Zipper Interactive’s Ben Jones reckons the PS3 is a better fit for their upcoming shooter MAG because Xbox Live is "more juvenile” than Sony’s online service. Anyone who’s ever played an international game of Halo 3 would probably agree. I can only be called a fag by a 12 year old so many times before the stupidity starts hurting my …
