PlayStation is set to unleash its next console on the world towards the holiday period next year. We know quite a bit about the system, including the general CPU and GPU architecture, the semi-proprietary SSD drive and that it’ll be packing a Blu-Ray drive. When details of the console were first floating about, a patent – including a picture of the system’s dev kit – was discovered, showing what the PlayStation 5’s development unit look like. It turned out to be an accurate representation of the system.

In the paraphrased words of Freddie Mercury, can anyone find meeeeeeee, some fresh ps5 details to loooooove? PlayStation CEO and President Jim Ryan might know a thing or two about what fans can expect from that console when it arrives just in time for the 2020 silly season, with the big cheese spilling a bunch of beans yesterday.

Although I really hope it’s not actually called that because that would be a terrible name for a sequel.

Wherever there’s a new console to be launched, you can bet your toastiest of buns that Ubisoft will be there to spread their specific brand across any hardware that’s fresh out of the box. Next year sees two new consoles arrive to herald in the next generation of gaming: Sony’s PlayStation 5 and Microsoft’s next Xbox which is currently operating under the codename of Project Scarlett.

The sequel to the cult-hit action RPG will be hitting a Sony console near you on March 13th 2020.

So what’s in store for November? One of the best slice ‘n dice action games of recent memory and yet another horror game that’ll having me noping so hard that I’ll be able to achieve escape velocity from this horrible planet. Nioh and Outlast 2 will be up for the low low price of nothing, provided that your subscription is up to date.

Look I’m as surprised as you are. I’d completely forgotten about Sony’s take on streaming entertainment, and by the sound of things, so did most of the world.

Look, at some point we’ll stop being utterly baffled by this game but I don’t think we’re there just yet.
