Pokémon is back in the news! During a special presentation this morning (and with another one scheduled for June 24), Nintendo had plenty to say about their money-making franchise. Here’s a brief round-up of all the announcements.
New lands to explore, new gyms to conquer and new trainers to meet. Bollocks to that, I want to know which Pokémon I can get my hands on in Pokémon Sword and Shield’s upcoming Isle of Armor expansion! This week’s latest trailer drop for the upcoming expansion didn’t just reveal when the DLC will release (June 17 in case you weren’t paying attention), but also which new Pokémon forms you’ll be able to see in action. They all look fantastic, save for Venusaur who once again gets the short end of the stick.
With the absence of E3, the month ahead feels strangely empty even though it really isn’t. There’s the biggest name on the block, The Last of Us Part II and the likes of Valorant, Ninjala and the first expansion for Pokémon Sword and Shield.
Now might be a good time to catch up on some other Anime that you missed while you spent years watching all three million One Piece episodes.
