For better and worse, Nioh 2 feels like more of the same. Tired environmental design and rehashed gameplay elements sully what is otherwise an addictive and exhilarating loot-based hack and slash samurai adventure.

Warlords of New York is a massive leap forward for The Division 2, a fun diversion that aims to be less repetitive and more engaging. There’s a big picture being developed here, one that’ll make the trademark grind of The Division 2 more addictive than ever before as civil war rages on in the streets of the divided states of America.

You never forget your first time stepping into Midgar. Whereas previous Final Fantasy games had utilised medieval and steampunk lands within which to tell their stories, Final Fantasy 7 was a massive departure from the atmospheric status quo set by its predecessors. Here was the city of Midgar, all wrapped in shiny technology and the promise of a cleaner tomorrow while hiding a dark secret.

Call of Duty is dipping into battle royale once again with Warzone, and it’ll be launching today! It’ll be a mere 20 gigglebytes in size when the download is made available from 11AM ET time in the US, which works out to 5PM locally here. Which is way past my bedtime so I’ll have to wait until tomorrow to play it. Damn it mom, let me be cool like the other kids and give me an 8PM curfew.

The Battle Royal genre ain’t dead yet! Still as lucrative as ever and home to some big players, Call of Duty Black Ops IIII took a stab at the theme a while back and found great success with Blackout. While Blackout was fun, it did also feel like a game that had numerous ideas stitched together instead of organically giving players the smoothest possible Call of Duty last man standing experience. Call of Duty: Warzone aims to change that, with a mode that is fast, furious and features some novel ideas to keep players constantly on their toes.

On PC, you’re going to need some solid hardware under the hood if you want to get DOOM Eternal running at a brisk pace. Id Software have dropped the PC specs needed for the game, which you can peruse right here.
