If the first season of The Grand Tour was a slow-burning reunion tour starring the likable trio of gearheads, then the second season finale is the combined talents of Clarkson, Hammond and May at their very best.

Jeremy Clarkson, Richard Hammond and James May decide to attempt to end world hunger with an incredible journey across Mozambique. The three notice that people in the coastal regions of this country are well-fed on the bountiful supplies of fish from the ocean, while those in the interior exist on the brink of hunger. Their solution is to find a way to transport that fish inland but, predictably, they cannot agree on the best method to do this.

With enough guns available to be confused for America’s lax laws on firearm ownership, you’d think that Destiny 2’s Crucible would be one component of developer Bungie’s sandbox that would draw little complaint from fans. You’d also be wrong, more wrong than you’d ever been on the wrongest day of your life when the only directions that you could turn in were left and wrong.

The road ahead for Destiny 2? 6v6 Crucible matches, reworked shaders and a whole lot more in the cosmetic department for the sandbox shooter.

The line between hero and villain is further blurred in Telltale’s latest Batman episode, as a world of half-truths and lies comes crashing down on players in the most unexpected of ways.

With Square Enix almost managing to fatally garrotte Hitman developer IO Interactive when they dumped the studio, it looked like the continued adventures of Agent 47 would grind to a halt. A reborn episodic series had managed to create a stellar sandbox of stealth and murder, while also building a story that was meant to last across several seasons of action and intrigue. IO Interactive bounced back however, secured their independence and got to work on a second season of Hitman. A second season that is now truly official.

While Hitman’s episodic approach was a concept done right, the entire package and its assorted episodes were already collected into retail edition that included all content that had been released to fans up to that point. IO Interactive is doing just that again with an obligatory game of the year edition. Only y’know, it actually deserves that title. 2’s a fab game, but beyond many quality of life improvements and an actual story to follow, players wanted something else: A reason to return and avoid going through the motions. Developer Bungie has been well aware of that potential weakness inside of Destiny 2, promising its fanbase that the next couple of years wouldn’t be a case of the social space gathering dust between the release of bigger expansions. At Twitchcon over the weekend, the team behind Destiny 2 outlined those plans.
