You’ve seen noisy set photos of it! Badly-framed Instagram photos that you can’t unsee. Now prepare to see the mighty Shazam himself in an official light! Warner Bros. and DC Comics have finally lifted the lid on the Shazam pot, and what have they been cooking? Something that looks…marvellous.

Comic books are not all serious business. You may be mistaken for thinking otherwise though thanks to most of the self-serious previous DCEU movies. That looks to be changing now as the films appear to be adopting looks more colourful faithful to the source material.

Shortly after casting its lead in Zachary Levi, Shazam! has found its young Billy Batson in Disney Channel star Angel Asher. Also joining the upcoming DC Comics film will be Annabelle: Creation actress Grace Fulton in an unknown role (though we can take a marvel-ous guess)
