Nope! Instead, what you see here is a sixth scale figure of “The Gunslinger” from LIM Toys. The fact that this toy just so happens to be pretty much identical to the protagonist of the best-selling Rockstar Games sequel to their popular western sandbox, is coincidental at best.

While Hot Toys does still have a few DC projects in the works, it’s the Movie Masterpiece line that has held my interest as of late. Their recent Neo from The Matrix was amazing, having a mini Johnny Depp in Jack Sparrow gear was piratastic and if I had more cash I’d probably buy all the Star Wars figures. Their next figure though? A fantastic replica of a great character from a terrible movie.

This summer, the most important movie in Marvel Cinematic Universe history finally arrives: Goose the Cat. Plus, there’s some other ass-kicking alien warrior woman by the name of Captain Marvel in it as well, but I’m more interested to see what shenanigans Goose gets up to.

Meticulously crafted based on the appearance of Alita from the film, the movie-accurate collectible figure features a newly developed head sculpt with separate rolling eyeballs, her highly detailed body which displays the complicated mechanical design, beautifully tailored outfit with fine textures, a blade, a heart attachable to the body and multiple interchangeable hands and feet to match with the cyborg body. Along with the figure, it also comes with an elaborated diorama figure stand inspired by the battle scenes.

I don’t think I’ll ever be a fan of the 2017 Justice League movie. It feels like a blockbuster designed by committee, it’s a mess of a flick thanks to some hasty editing and the less said about Henry Cavill’s super-lip the better. The visionary behind the Empire’s Death Star project had more than enough cunning and savvy style to recognise the importance of capes. That gorgeous swish of material, that luxurious flow of textures that allowed him to revel in the fact that he was better than everyone around him. I don’t care what Edna from the Incredibles said, capes are awesome.

What if the movie version of Wonder Woman did have a more comic book influenced design though? She’d probably look a little something like this.
