A couple of months ago, I wrote a post on Prodeus, a game which still looks metal as f***. It’s like DOOM, but it’s also kind of like DOOM. Which may sound confusing but hear me out here: Imagine the fast-paced feel of the new DOOM which emphasises speed and brutality, but adds in some retro flavour in the form of ye olde school DOOM visuals.

The game is headed to Nintendo’s Switch, but many – myself included – didn’t think it would be a particularly good port. Afterall, the game is technically beyond the little system’s capabilities.

In Mortal Kombat 11, D’Vorah’s back and stranger than ever, with the insect queen now having a far trickier arsenal of attacks up her winged sleeves.

Many, many, many years ago, we told you about Cook, Serve, Delicious! It’s a little game that lets you run an increasingly successful restaurant, managing the daily challenges of such, along with the actual cooking bit, which is all done through clicks and movements on pc, or touches and taps on devices like the iPad. Its sequel is now on Switch and Xbox One.

Now, finally, there’s going to be a Switch Pro controller with a headset jack. And like many of these things that fix Nintendo mistakes, it’s done by a third party. The third party in question here is PDP, who make a range of accessories and peripherals for all systems.

Many games leaks come to us through retail system, which either jump the gun or are trawled for information that might be worthwhile. It seems to have happened again, with retailer Best buy’s internal system having leaked a trio of impending Switch games. Those games are The Legend of Zelda: A Link to the Past, Metroid Prime Trilogy and Persona 5.

I ain’t fooling you when it comes to April, because we’ve got another banger of a month on the way! While the bigger releases that were seen in the first quarter of the year seems to have slowed down in April, that doesn’t mean that there isn’t some fun to be had.
