The impending Spyro Reignited Trilogy not only remasters the visuals, but also remasters the music. As revealed at SDCC this year though, those who favour their nostalgia and want those old-school tunes can happily toggle soundtracks. But wait! There's more!

Spyro Reignited Trilogy already looks stunning thanks to the amount of work that Toys For Bob have poured into that trio of remastered games, but they didn’t stop there. To really give Spyro the love he deserved, Toys For Bob went to great lengths to remaster every single piece of original audio that the studio could get their hands on.

While Spyro hasn’t faded into the background thanks to a stint in the Skylanders series of toys to life video games, fans have still been starving for a return to the classics. It’s that very nostalgia that Activision and developer Toys for Bob are revisiting with Spyro: Reignited Trilogy, a compilation of classics that so far looks absolutely stunning.

Wouldn’t it be nice if some game company were to take the classic trilogy of Spyro dragon action, and repackage them with shiny new visuals? By the sounds of things, Activision is just that company to do so, most likely thanks to last year’s Crash Bandicoot remasters selling like the hottest of cakes.
