I'm a little uncertain whether the world needs a Joker origin movie, but I am definitely excited that Robert de Niro is looking to star in it regardless.

Announced at San Diego Comic Con, The Worlds of DC signifies the end of an era and the start of a far more focused one. Does that mean that the cinematic universe of director Zack Snyder’s darker vision for the DCEU is dead? Not exactly, but the idea here is that The Worlds of DC can support multiple films and ideas.

People actually eat it and I’ve got plenty of it!), Marrakesh is a fascinating deep dive into the divide between the rich and the poor.

It's pretty much official! Joaquin Phoenix will be playing another incanration of the Joker, in an upcoming "gritty crime" movie that Todd "The Hangover" Phillips will direct. Now that puts a smile on my face.

Netflix is not in the business of giving you quality content. They're in the business of making money. And they're spending a lot of money in the hope of making more movies and TV series to binge.

Times might be tough economically, but that is not stopping the big studios from raking in the cash. However, those numbers might make the industry look a little more impressive than it really is.
