If you were looking for a game to make you look like a complete fool in front of your TV, look no further. G1 jockey is a horse riding simulator for the Wii, yes that’s right a horse riding simulator. No it doesn’t include some huge saddle peripheral, its works with the balance board, Wii-mote and nunchuck. While watching this …
To celebrate the 25th anniversary of Trivial Pursuit, EA announced plans to release Trivial Pursuit games on every possible platform they can. From the likes of Pogo.com, where you can already play the game, to both new and last generation consoles. Last Updated: September 29, 2008
You know I really feel for Sony on this one, they showed us MAG at E3 this year and it looked absolutely awesome and I said then that if they could pull it off it would be one of the best games ever. However it seems that Sony is about to drive a nail straight through MAG’s heart by setting …
Howdy folks and welcome back to Question of the Week. Last weeks question had our readers telling us their stories of ultimate and absolute pwnage and although some of the stories involved some awesome gaming skills, a lot of you guys seem to have been blessed with some serious luck. I have posted the winner's name up after the jump below. Remember that if you don't tell us your story, you can't win a prize, so get involved or lose out! So now that that's out of the way, let's get down to the fun stuff. This Weeks Question: Did you ever play (and really enjoy) a game in secret because your friends would think you were lame? So, for this week's question I really want you guys to spill the beans. We have all played a game at one point or another that was considered so lame that your friends would no longer be able to see you as the hardcore "l33t pWnZor" that you are. Problem is, you really loved it and probably put more hours into it than you ever would have originally anticipated. Thanks to the latest offerings from Nintendo, titles like these are a dime a dozen.... Tell us your tale and you could win yourself a free copy of **********, courtesy of Ster Kinekor. Just a quick note before I announce the winner, the judging for the Question of the Week is going to be done a little differently. To keep things fair, all accepted entries will now be put into a randomiser and the winner will then be chosen electronically using Random.org, as was done with the winner of last weeks prize.... Your gaming skills and a stroke of randomised luck have earned you a new "beat-down simulator". You can check out last weeks' question as well as the stories that people wrote by clicking here.
So I posted earlier about the latest Eurogamer face off and you may have wondered then how I managed to restrain from talking about my pet hate… those idiotic installs. Well it’s because I wanted to add them all up and see how much of our 40Gb hard drive space would be taken just by playing the games in the …
Don Reisinger over at CNET has published an article completely lambasting Blu-Ray and its future… What seems to have triggered this off is the fact that Blu-Ray actually lost market share last week and is now sitting at a utterly under whelming 8% of the market. However the news gets worse for Blu-Ray after that as a recent study has …
Just a reminder to any users of Xbox Live that the service will be down from 10am to 10pm today. So if you get home and fail to log on, don't get angry and don't throw your router out the window because it's just Microsoft is performing some maintenance. You may remember that last week we reported that Xbox Live would be down and that it will only be down for maintenance and preparations for the new dashboard, so don't think that you will be creating any avatars anytime soon. I know that tomorrow will be tough for some but don't worry, you'll be ok. Whip out all of those single player games that you always promised to finish and get the job done. Look on the brightside, you will probably be able to rack up a decent amount of achievements. I know it's a long shot, but you could maybe even try going outside a bit. I know it's a strange concept to most of you but apparently it's not so bad. I wouldn't know, I've never tried it.
A spooky European village. Properly scary castle mania. Vampires. Werewolves! The only thing more frightening, is a glimpse at your empty bank account when it comes to deciding whether or not you can grab Resident Evil Village this month. Capcom's successor to its long-running survival-horror franchise is finally out, and if you've read our review then you know the game is a winner on multiple levels.
