New Need for Speed Trailer – includes first in-game footage

It seems like EA is changing it's tone with the Need for Speed series, which in my opinion is a good choice. They have gone with a very "Hollywood" approach, making this almost seem like the trailer for "Gone in Sixty Seconds Part Two". While the cinematics look really cool and the movie sequences are giving me a hope of a mode similar to NFS Porsche's "factory driver". The gameplay is key and as long as the cars drive well and the campaign is well paced and interesting then I will be happy. Please get this one right EA.

Okay I have done my very best to utterly ignore the upcoming Wii Music but this is just too much, I present to you the Sitar but it could have possibly been more aptly named the sh*tter. If it was up to me, the Need for Speed franchise would have stopped at Most Wanted. EA don’t live in the same world as we do so they have continued to make more. The newest one will be hitting in November and the cars list has just been released. Last Updated: September 16, 2008

New Red Xbox 360 Controller on it's way

By Nick De Bruyne

redcontroller.jpg Hooray! A new controller is on it's way for the Xbox 360 and it's red! Does it make your accuracy better, well... no. It doesn't do anything like that. But it's red! The new package will be coming out at a price of $65 (R531) and if you are wondering why the price is higher than usual its not because red is awesome, it's because the controller comes packaged with a play and charge kit. If you haven't already picked up on my sarcasm, I really don't get the big thing about controllers coming out in different colours. Microsoft seem pretty impressed with it (of course) and had the following to say: "The award-winning Xbox 360 Wireless Controller now comes in red, with newly designed black accents," says Microsoft. "Experience wireless gaming from up to 30 feet and enjoy nonstop play with the included Play and Charge cable and red rechargeable battery." We have yet to see any images of it but we can probably assume that it looks like the usual one, except that it will be red, with black accents.
