By Gavin Mannion

So you think the Wii is for kiddies? Rockstar are going out of their way to change that impression and are currently running a competition to win this exceptionally gory Wii and a 50″ Plasma.. Why you will need a 50″ Plasma for a Wii is another question but I wouldn’t complain if I won it. So what do you need to do …

I haven’t heard much about this game but some interesting news is doing the rounds this morning. Kotkau received a tip from an inside source over the weekend and he had this to say about the game. * The game will be a free-roaming title with a historically-accurate recreation of Los Angeles in 1947.* Team Bondi has even hired a costume …

It has been confirmed in the US that the upcoming Microsoft holiday bundles are going to be including two free games. Forza 2 and Marvel: Ultimate Alliance. At todays game rates that translates into a R1000 saving which is not bad at all. A Xbox 360 premium for R2699?  Let’s hope we receive some confirmation for the PAL areas this week as well. Top: …

Okay I report on these sorts of things everyday and my head is starting to spin here. Can anyone keep track of what Sony is actually doing. Hot on the heels of the fantastic 40GB SKU announcement is the news that the 60GB model is being phased out. The only PS3 that will be available in the PAL areas from now on is …

I wrote an article a while ago about Conan using sex and violence to move units, well Record of Agarest (?) has gone down a similar track. However they are being more imaginative about it, check the pictures above and below and explain to me how something like that could get past the censors. I have a sneaking suspicion they …

Naughty dog co-president Evan Wells has announced that Uncharted: Drake’s Fortune will be released on the 7th of December to PAL territories. Hopefully that includes us. Even better news is that they are releasing a demo onto PSN before then, but the date has not been announced yet. In more good news it was revealed that the game will also play in full 1080i resolution as well …
